About Tri-Med

Trimed Logo

Tri-Med's purpose is to facilitate the detection and treatment of H.pylori globally

Based in Perth, Western Australia, Tri-Med was founded in 1996 by Professor Barry Marshall to develop a reliable diagnostic test to detect Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori).

Tri-Med’s PYtest® is a urea breath test; a simple, quantitative and non-invasive method for the diagnosis of current H. pylori infection.

Over the last three decades, PYtest has evolved into one of the world’s most trusted diagnostic tests for the detection of H. pylori.

Since these humble beginnings, Tri-Med has expanded both its product base and international footprint and now markets PYtest, CLOtest, scintillation and collection fluids and associated therapeutics throughout Australia and to a worldwide market including over 30 export destinations.
